"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Matthew 6:21

God's Glory = why we give

The aim of our lives is to glorify God. He has entrusted us with time, energy, and financial resources to be spent for the sake of the Gospel and the advancement of his kingdom. As stewards of his grace, it is our desire to see everything through the lens of eternity—giving of ourselves with joyful anticipation of the day we might hear the words, "well done, good and faithful servant...enter into the joy of your master" (Matthew 25:21).

Giving is an act of worship, done out of the knowledge that every good thing we enjoy has been given from the hand of God. When we offer our money, time, and energy to the Lord, we do so by faith, trusting in his promises and provision as we joyfully surrender whatever he asks. Giving helps set our mind on eternity and frees us from the unsatisfying idols of the world that compete for our affections (Matthew 6:19-21).

Create a Shared household profile

When gifts are entered into the Planning Center system, they are attached to one specific person, even if they are given from a joint account. This will also result in your family getting one combined statement with all household giving for the year, rather than separate statements.
