SERVE IN GROVE GUEST EXPERIENCE

Join us as we strive to foster a church environment where every  person feels seen, welcomed, and loved. We believe that the little things can make a difference. Come hold a door, give a smile, engage in a conversation, or pour a cup of coffee. Encourage people to pull up a chair and stay awhile!

Greeter

Say hello, hold a door, and help people feel welcomed and cared for as they enter and exit our building.

Connect Center volunteer

Want to help people connect more deeply at The Grove? Serve at the Connect Center and engage in conversations that provide directions, answer questions, and help people root more deeply in the life of our church.

Lobby Host Volunteer

Forget what your mom told you as a kid–it’s ok to talk to strangers now!  We need volunteers who will proactively welcome guests and families in a way that makes them feel known and comfortable.

Coffee Counter volunteer

A warm cup of coffee or tea can make someone’s day! In this role, you’ll brew and serve coffee, but more importantly, you’ll help create an environment that makes people want to stay awhile.

Usher

Be the smiling face that greets people as they enter the Worship Center. Ushers hold the door, pass out worship guides, and assist with offering and communion. If you are seeking a place to serve on a Sunday morning that doesn’t take a lot of prep but makes a big impact, we’d love to have you on the team.

Medical Volunteer

Provide basic medical care when needed and request further assistance from emergency services if necessary. CPR certification is preferred but not required. These very important volunteers serve on a rotating schedule for Sunday services and larger events.

Security Volunteer

Do you feel called to serve by providing safety and security during Sunday services and larger events? Join the security team! Volunteers must be observant and willing to assist and direct others when safety and security issues arise. Volunteers serve on a rotating schedule.
